The velvet ones are worth it if you can catch them on sale. I sprung for pretty much every velvet color they had except black (which wasn't covered by the sale). These are gorgeous, larger than I was expecting, and always get compliments. Such lovely colors, too! The only downside is that the velvet is delicate. It's easy to scuff these by bumping into things. If you're the clumsy type, stick with the PU bags.

I really love this handbag, it is unquie and very pretty but after only three weeks of very minimal use the hinge where you open the lid of the bag has cracked completely as the hinge is really not fit for purpose. I have only opened and closed the lid to put things in the bag and it has cracked to the point it is basically unusable and customer service has advised this is my fault due to my use of the bag. You cannot open the lid of the bag very far at all because the hinge is made of such unflexible material, which to me is an issue with how the product has been made, not my use of it as you obviously need to open a bag to put things in it. The hinge of the lid needs to be better made if it will crack like that after only being opened and closed carefully a few times. The zip is also very stiff.
