Beautiful concept, poor execution.

"In more recent years, I've been far more choosy with the Killstar items I purchase. They used to be my go-to overall for shopping and now they're just. . . different. In a bad way. Overall the fabric is nice, however it lacks the bit of stretch the skirt version has. The top of the dress fits so much smaller than the rest. I'm hourglass shaped and yet the top is way too tight and the bottom sags weirdly. It just seems like way less care is put into how these pieces will fit and function for mundane life. I'm pretty disappointed, I even thought about buying a size up and tailoring it just because I like it so much but to be frank at that price point, it should just fit more true to their own size chart than it does. I also wish the zipper was on the back because honestly I could at least then use a zipper aid. I could not have possibly done this up if I were by myself because it's a delicate invisible zipper on the side. It would be perfect if the bottom fit better and it had that bit of stretch the skirt does. Too expensive too return so I'm just reselling."

Purchased as a birthday gift

"Purchased as a birthday gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. Hadn't realised from the photo that it's such shimmery material but looks great. Sizing is slightly small and very long."
