Small size must be for toddlers and infants

"Fabric, quality, and looks are great. It's pretty. I bought this for my daughter who is small and only in 6th grade. Size medium is way too small for her. Hence the 2 stars. I don't know how skinny a grown woman has to be to wear a size small but it isn't healthy or a good message for my daughter or any woman to think they are a size large when they aren't remotely large at all and, in fact, are prepubescent. I'm not huge either but for that thing to fit me, I would probably need a size 6X. Just wish Killstar would get real or at least consistent with their sizing because it alienates their target audience, especially when they make cropped only versions of tops that I would havd dropped serious cash if the rest of the shirt was available to buy. As well as petite sizes!! I just have to spend my money elsewhere much of the time."

Unique, beautiful jacket that may need some adjustments

"This jacket is beautiful and well crafted. Feel really good on and the fit is right on. The velvet is so soft and the black color is so deep and rich. Definitely will be wearing this for work or a night out with my dresses and skirts One thing I missed that is shown in the photos is that the zipper hits at a cropped or empire height and the sleeves are long enough to cover your hands. For the zipper, depending on your shape and outfit it can be a bit odd to have a zipper running from about your bra strap and up. The photo showing the jacket zipped up is zoomed in so I missed that it was not at the model's waist. Where the zipper hits also depends on the person of course. The tails make it a nice length on me when left open and the belled-out shape at the bottom I think will work well with a swishy or a-line skirt or dress. I don't have the hip curve to make this work with pants, but I will be trying this out with several of my go-to dresses and see how often I navigate towards it. It's so pretty I want it to work. For the sleeves I think I will add buttons so I can hold the sleeves back as needed for functional reasons"
