If you receive a suspicious request, whether itโs on a website or a social media app, donโt click on any links or open any attachments. Instead, report the request to the platform and delete the message immediately.ย
If youโve fallen for a phishing scam, update any compromised passwords, and report the incident to relevant authorities like your bank or the police.
