"First and foremost - these are NOT for short people! Be prepared to shorten them if you're below 170cm if you want to wear them without platforms/heels. I'm 162cm and I step on them even with platforms. I'm a mixed size (L/XL across the bust, M at the waist, L/XL over the hips), so ordering pants is always a bit scary. At first I followed the size recommendations and ordered XL, but that was a mistake as the space between the waistband and the groin is super long, and it all ended up getting way too baggy. I ordered a size L instead - these fit me perfectly aside from being too long. The pants are not as dark as pictured. They're a dark gray/light black, so if you have saturated blacks these will appear considerably lighter. The waist has a distressed/frayed edge that I'm not a huge fan of, but it's not too big of a deal. As earlier mentioned, the pants are not for short people! I need to shorten mine, but I've been using them around the house as they're extremely comfortable. Can be dressed up or down with ease. The pants are truly high waist, which is lovely. The waistband is broad and a bit elastic (reminds me of smocked garments), I had to size down from XL to L, could probably have gone down another size since the pants themselves are very wide and flowy. These are one of my favorite pants right now! And the pockets are a lovely addition!"
